The Effects of Severe Trauma

Sometimes people are very badly hurt emotionally and psychologically, as well as physically.  Sometimes the body goes on living, but the heart is barely alive.  Many years may pass this way until finally such a life begins to fall apart of its own great weight.  We must return very carefully to the source of these injuries and place them in an understanding light where they can proceed to heal.
