Depression

Sometimes the heart is filled with glowing pain, sometimes it is heavy as lead, and numb.  Both can be unbearable.  Such states speak of loss, or grief, or guilt, or stifled anger, and they cannot be relieved until these hidden meanings are seen in the light with something like sympathy, and untangled.
